In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Houston; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Texas are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Houston is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

First time here and it was a wonderful meal, thanks to our server Vince! He was very attentive and patient with all my familyβs requests. We ordered the hot pot plus kbbq menu, so many variety and ingredients are very fresh! Meats are good quality, we love the bbq galbi, balanced fat and lean meats with perfect marinate sauce. For the hot pot soup I definitely recommend the Szechuan spicy flavor, you can actually taste the peppercorn and tingling yet herbal flavors. It was my first time trying beef tongue in the hot pot too, surprisingly it was soft and chewy. Wish the place is closer so we can come here more often for the food! Very spacious booth seating, and great k pop music taste, got a nice bar area too. Itβs a good place for gatherings too!

Iβve been to KPot a few times now and this is my second time having Vince as my server. I honestly felt like he deserved a review. Vince is the kind of person who makes you want to come back. His energy is always positive, heβs knowledgeable about the menuand he takes the time to explain things and recommend sauces that actually pair well together instead of just rushing through the experience. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does. We also ended up talking about anime and manga, which made the experience feel even more personal. Itβs always cool when someone can connect with you beyond just taking your order. Iβve had good food here every time but great service is what people remember and Vince absolutely delivers that. If youβre coming to KPot, I hope you get him as your server because he really sets the standard for what hospitality should look like. KPot is lucky to have him on their team. Wishing him nothing but continued success and Iβm already looking forward to my next visit. 10/10.

The place could be a solid 5 stars but the service fall short. Food is very high quality as well as the seafood really fresh and all perfectly marinated. Unfortunately when seated at the booth we had to fix and move our seating (heavy) and nobody cared about. Diet Pepsi taste was very off and tbh disgusting. The waitress at one point disappeared to entertain in a very long conversation the food runners and we waited forever to have our grill replaced. Floor was dirty. Again food is great but work to do on the details. Deserts are actually good and fresh. Again food

Tried KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot for my sonβs birthday celebration and it did NOT disappoint! π₯π₯ I reserved it a month ahead for a party of 17 and it was super easy! We ended up with a party of 24. They kept in touch via text and phone calls the whole time. Bonus: the birthday guest eats FREE! π We got the full BBQ + Hot Pot experience and everything was fresh, tender, and flavorful:ribeye, shrimp, lamb, king crab legs, wagyu sausageβ¦so many options! Even our vegetarian had plenty to choose from. Shoutout to our waiter Austin with his top tier service! He was personable , patient, efficient, and so accommodating ππ½ Drinks were strong (just how we like them π), but the Lychee Tini stole the show! SO good with real lychee inside! They even refrigerated our cupcakes and brought them out lit with candles + their mascot bear π»π which was such a fun touch! Iβll admit, it was a little overwhelming at first (first-timer here π ), but once I got the hang of it, I was all in. Only downside: with a large group, not everyone had easy access to the grill, so that slowed us down a bit. Plus the entire party had to order what the birthday guy ordered. Of course, he ordered the full throttle

Almost flawless! I have been to kpot in Austin. This is a better version of that despite having fewer robots. Dishes come very quickly via seamless tablet ordering. Everything is well prepared and top quality. Eat to full just don't over eat and pay for it late onπ
